What To Bring:
Tree stand (Steps/Rope + Safety belt) - Southern Territory only
Warm Clothes (Never know what the temperature will be)
Hunter Orange hat and vest (camo orange is not acceptable in Ontario)- not required if hunting from a tree stand
Previous hunting license CN or US
Weapon of choice, gun, bow or crossbow
Soft guncase or bowcase (legal requirement)

Bug jacket and repellent
Rain Gear
Extra Footware/Gloves
Flash lights (Batteries)
Binoculars
Coolers & Freezer Bags for meat
Heavy duty garbage bags for hide and meat if quartered

Weapon of Choice:
Shotgun - 20 gauge shotgun with a slug or larger. Please make sure that you have your three shell plug in place.
Rifle - A 270 or bigger is recommended.
Bow - with a draw weight of at least 40 lbs
Crossbow - with a draw weight of at least 100 lbs
It is illegal to shoot a sow with cubs, so examine the situation completely.
Hunters need to bring their old hunting license and proper personal identification.
By law, all guns must have a trigger lock and be locked and in a transportation case within 1/2 hour after sunset and 1/2 hour before sunrise.
