Bear
Hunting
We offer a high quality bear hunt. Whether you
are hunting with bow or gun, you will be hunting
along the shores of Lake Windermere and Kathleen
Lake. Access to your stand is by boat. On average, we
provide 2 active stands per hunter. This allows you a better
chance at a great hunt with many opportunities. We put a lot
of time and dedication toward our hunters. In addition, the area hunted
is adjacent to the world's largest game preserve. Our success rate speaks for itself. At Happy Day
Lodge 100% of our regular bear hunters have shot a bear. We truly work hard so that you will have a
successful hunting trip at Happy Day Lodge. We don't think you will find another outfitter with this
kind of success.
Moose
Hunting
We are
in Unit 32 for Resident Moose Hunters. With the game preserve to our north
and the Shoals Park to the south, the shallow bays, thickets and logging roads
throughout our area are a great combination for success. We share locations
of animals spotted during the season to lead you to a successful fall hunt.
Call early to insure your week because we limit the amount of groups for the
fall hunt. This preserves great hunting opportunities year after year. Our area success rate comes
with great opportunity. Every year a hunter has filled their tags through our camp, whether it be
a bull, cow, or calf. Your opportunity is here if you are looking for a successful hunt.

Hunters must provide their own boat, motor, and gas ~ or rent them from Happy Day Lodge.
Hunters
must supply proof of previous hunting experience to purchase an
Ontario Hunting License. ( Provincial or State License, current or recent

Fall
Grouse / Duck Hunting
In mid-September come in and enjoy our excellent area for grouse and duck hunting. While hunting with a watchful eye you may hunt on foot or by your ATV on miles of old logging roads. It is a wonderful experience to be on the trails on early sunny mornings
or being the only hunter in a beautiful bay calling for water fowl.
