Moose Hunt Details

We have adult Bull and Cow tags for WMU 32.

Archery Moose hunting season starts late September.

Rifle Moose hunting season for non-residents starts mid October.

Rifle Moose hunting season for residents starts mid October.

Not Included in Package Price:

  • Export Permit
  • Firearms Declaration Form
  • Cabin or camping (your choice) upon booking

    Please Note: Do not sign the firearms declaration form until the customs agent asks you to. Firearms Declaration form can be downloaded and printed at www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca and pay at the border (credit card accepted).

    What To Bring:

  • Passport or Passport Card
  • Previous hunting license CN or US
  • GPS
  • Warm clothes (Never know what the temperature will be)
  • Hunter Orange hat and vest (camo orange is not acceptable in Ontario) - not required if hunting from a tree stand during archery season.
  • Weapon of choice soft guncase or bowcase (legal requirement)
  • Bug jacket
  • Repellent
  • Rain Gear
  • Extra Footware/Gloves
  • Flash lights (Batteries)
  • Binoculars
  • Coolers
  • Cheese Cloth or Freezer Bags for meat
  • Hunting knife/sharpener
  • Food & Drink
  • Sleeping bag
  • Towels
  • Cleaning and personal items.

    Hunting Notes:

  • Rifle should be at least a 270 or larger. A 300 WIN MAG is recommended.
  • Bow hunters must use a bow with a 50-lbs. pull or better. 60-lbs. pull or better is recommended.
  • Cross bow hunters must use a bow with a 119 lbs pull or better.
  • By law, all guns must have a trigger lock and be locked and in a transportation case within 1/2 hour after sunset and 1/2 hour before sunrise
  • Hunter orange must be worn at all times while hunting or transporting to-and-from the WMU during rifle season. Not required during archery season.
  • Hunters need to bring their old hunting license and proper personal identification.

    Prior to arriving to our camp, please make sure contact has been made with us in regards to your weapons so all permits required for weapons are in place. This is very important to take care of several weeks before your arrival.
